pure luxury!

fine building exquisite details cocktail room
the building itself was fine. it really makes you feel like you are in a castle. our suite was unbelievable, it had so many exquisite details. the cocktail room and berts jazz bar were perfect and so super clean!!!
i wish they would add a few more cocktail options to the hot tub drinks menu, perhaps offering some lighter, more refreshing choices.

a decent stay

perfect location spacious room reduced menu high price
the location was perfect! the hotel is beautiful. the rooms are spacious, which i liked. i found some extra novelties like the watch shop and the rooftop hot tub. it was nice.
i think the cocktail bar wasn't worth the price. the cocktail menu has been reduced greatly in recent years and the prices almost doubled. this used to be my favorite spot! though the drinks are expensive.

mixed feelings ABOUT THE stay

thick dust lacking ingredients
the restaurant decor WAS first class, i admit.
some surfaces were thick with DUST and i found a champagne cork wire. i complained, SO they gave me two glasses of prosecco. the bar staff COULDN'T make a cocktail i usually order, stating they lacked ingredients. i thought this was ridiculous because Bert's bar was only a minute AWAY and could provide the ingredients.
